Tucker's birthday painting

A couple of weeks ago, we were looking at the Auction for Marigold, and we saw a listing for a painting done by a cat. I was intriqued, and found Colehaus Cats' blog. One of the Colhaus cats, Quint, is an artist, and has his own shop!

His paintings touched me deeply, and I knew I wanted one to commemorate Tucker's 15th birthday. I emailed Colehaus and asked if they could include an inscription on the back--they happily agreed.

I chose one of Quint's summer series on canvas. It came nicely packed:

They included a special note on Quint's postcard:

Here it is, 6x6 in size.

I love how the painting even has designs on the edges.

Here are the inscriptions on the back:

I love the patterns. I may do a blog header with this design sometime.

Tucker gives the painting two paws up.

I don't know what this is, but my person likes it a lot, so I guess I like it too.
