When I was a young child, my parents had a green "ball" ornament. You plugged it in and it played a very loud bird chirp. I was fascinated by it, and have thought about that ornament from time to time. As luck would have it, I found one recently at a thrift store!
I charged my camera battery and plugged it in for the first time. All three cats reacted.
