Pets from long ago

I was recently scanning some old photos, and found some of pets I had while growing up.

This is Woody. My parents had her before I was born. I remember, as a small child, sleeping in contorted positions when Woody would choose to sleep with me. She lived to be about 16 or 17.

This is Holly, my parent's first dog (a sheltie) with Berries (my childhood cat). It was May 6, 1987. Berries was hissing and Holly was running away.

Here is Berries at about 6 or 7 months old. She has a piece of dry food on her leg. I wrote on the back of the photo "loves food."

This is Pee-Wee, my parent's shih tzu, in 1989. He is holding a hamburger toy in his mouth.

Berries grew up to love dogs, and here she is with Pee-Wee. (Yes, that is a Christmas hat on Pee-Wee. We used to dress him up.)

I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane.

All the pics are wonderful! My angel Annie was the spitting image of Woody, though. If I didn't know better, I could say it was my girl! :-)

Great pictures! Thank you for sharing. If they allowed dogs where we live, Mom would have a shih tzu.

Every time my human sees a photo of Harlot, the cat before Sparkle, she still misses her.

You could make a new blog page with these photos and stories upon them, of your old pets. That is what I did. You could also do a best of Tucker page as well. I see some people do a single page of each animal they have. Just a thought.

Have a good weekend.

Greetings from Greg and his cats

It's nice that you had so many pets growing up. I especially love the photo with the shih tzu with the hamburger. So cute :)
