I think Benny thinks Ringo has a stinky butt! Clearly, Ringo does not care.
Maybe, he wanted Ringo's attention which he wasn't getting. It's awfully cute, though.

Huh. At first it reminded me of how Grizzy and Sophie "cover" their food, but Ringo certainly isn't food! :)
