I spotted this gold cat planter. At first, I thought it was neat, but the more I looked at it, the creepier it became. The hollow eyes got to me. What do you think?

Yeah, those eyes are eerie!
Perhaps a touch of repainting to solve that?
it's really a cute pose and face on the kitty. I like how the paw is in the uplifted position. It didn't scream creepy to me
I think it is a neat planter. You could always touch up the eyes. But we don't mind the eyes. Get a pretty plant for it. Take care.
I wonder if it would be less... or MORE... creepy if you painted in the eyes?
I like it. The gold is odd color--it could easily be repainted. That would improve it immensely. Better run back to the shop!!!
Definitely creepy, though I think I agree with Greg - a new coat of paint might be all it needs.
We bet that planter was painted gold by a previous owner. Another color may make it less creepy looking, though we don't think it's that bad.
Think it could use some painting with various colors.
I too wonder if the previous owner thought that a coat of gold paint might save it.. and realized it made it worse
I thought it was cute til you pointed that out :)
we had to MOL at Summer's comment!
