A couple of weeks ago, we got a new-to-us leather couch! It has two built-in recliners, something new in our house.

Aren't recliners the best! We have three of them. Two on each end of our couch and a separate recliner.

A word of caution from me: I knew an old lady with a beautiful old longhair black cat she had many years. She got a recliner. When the footrest was up, the cat went under the chair. The old woman quickly put the footrest down, and the mechanism killed the cat! She heard it scream and then it was too late. She was much distressed. The recliner was gotten rid of. I am always careful when I have my feet up on mine, and put my feet down very slowly when I want to sit upright. Sometimes when I am not sure, I crawl out of the chair with the footrest up just to check.
