This month's first review item is iams ProActive Health Oral Care Daily Dental Treats (salmon flavor)
This treat comes in an interesting shape that claims to clean cats' teeth. I'm not sure of the validity of this, given that many cats swallow dry food whole.
The instructions on the bag say this treat is nutritionally complete and balanced, and you can replace up to 1/4 c. of a cat's food with these treats. Since we don't feed dry food, that wouldn't work so well, and I would think that would quickly get quite expensive, especially if you have multiple cats.
I'm not able to provide a long-term review of how these work, as that would take months. IMO I'd use these are an overall treat and if they help a little with tartar, it's a bonus.
Everyone LOVED these treats. The reviews on Chewy are similar--five stars. I only wish they came in a larger bag!
Disclaimer: We were given a tag of treats in exchange for an honest review. The opinions are our own.

Glad the crew approved.
I've given up any real hope of dental treats being any help with my girls' apparently genetically bad teeth. But, oops, this reminds me, I'm supposed to be trying to keep an eye on Elliot's tartar levels....
I've wondered about that too; cats just gobble stuff up; they really don't chew.
Glad they were a hit.
For some reason, dental treats always seem to be tasty - and expensive! Whether or not they actually help teeth... that's something different.
Those do sound tasty only I doubt Tw would feed me more than 2 or 3 a day.
Glad they liked them.
