Chewy.com review: Dr. Tim's chicken chips #chewyinfluencer

After taking two months off from reviewing due to my surgery, I'm happy to say that we're back!

We have two products this month, and the first one is Dr. Tim's Chicken Chips.

The container is a generous-sized 5 oz. tub of freeze-dried chicken necks. That is the only ingredient, making it a nice quality treat for those who prefer meat-based treats.

We've tried a fair number of freeze-dried treats but have never seen chicken pieces made from chicken necks.  The manufacturer is also based in Wisconsin, where we live, a nice bonus.

The pieces are both cut vertically and horizontally. Unlike some dog treats, which can be large pieces, the size of the pieces works well for cats.

Now, because chicken necks have a lot of bone in them, these treats are "chewy" and take some work for the cats to eat. Would the cats mind?

The girls LOVED these. Sadie insisted on eating hers in a laundry basket.

Now Lucy loved hers so much, she would take it any run away! I could not get a photo.

The verdict is that not all cats will like these, but if your cat (or dog) likes freeze-dried treats they likely will. Dr. Tim's has other freeze-dried treats too, like beef tripe. These are a nice alternative to other treats and the larger container makes it great for multi-pet households.

Disclaimer: We received some treats in exchange for an honest review. The opinions here are our own.

These sound good, worth checking out! Maybe my human will pick up some with our next Chewy order.

ooh, interesting. I wonder how those would go over over here

I'm innocent, I swear!

Lucy was in a playful mood last week, zooming around and messing up the hallway rug. However, when I'd come to take a photo, she'd ...
