Captain Marvel and Goose the cat

Jim and I enjoy watching the Marvel character movies, and have gone to see many of them in the theater. We were looking forward to watching Captain Marvel.

A couple of weeks ago, Jim walks upstairs and hands me an action figure. He says, "This one is for you." It is Captain Marvel with an orange tabby in her arms. What?!

Ringo thought that it was something fun to rub on.

I had missed that there is a CAT in this movie! The "cat" is actually an alien (a Flerken) with special powers. Goose the cat is shown in the movie decor in the theater:

Here are some facts about Goose and the cats who played her. I love that the primary Goose was played by a 12-year old cat.

I enjoyed the movie.
I won't give away anything, except two things--the cat steals the show. AND, stay until after the end credits or you will miss a fun tidbit featuring Goose. We laughed about this tidbit for several days afterward.

Normally, my human has zero interest in super hero movies... but this one she may have to go to!

I just saw Captain Marvel movie on Tuesday! It was so good--very fun--and I squealed whenever I saw Goose. :-)

I've read about the cat in the movie and love that he's part of the action figure!

I've seen the movie too! I think it was worse than the previous Marvel productions, but this cat... <3 Omg, he was the best :)

I wasn't going to that movie, but maybe now I am! Promoting cats in anyway, is GOOD!

That's so funny to read. My red tabby is named Gooseberry and I call him Goose for short! But of course he's a he.

When I first heard the term Flerken, I couldn't help but think of a certain Tabbico kitty of mine..
