Benny had a double-dose of outings on Friday. I scheduled both an eye doctor visit (learn more about his eyes here) and a vet check up.
His eyes remain stable for the most part. I'd been concerned about the discharge in his right eye, and mentioned it to the doctor. He suggested an antibiotic eye drop for a week.
As for the regular vet, overall, he is doing well. His weight is stable. However, I'd suspected that his thryoid levels were off again. He tends to puke clear pukes in the mornings when his levels are off, and this had started in the past week. Turns out, we need to increase his medication a little. But we caught it early, so that's good news!
We are pleased that he is chugging along.

I didn't know about Benny having thyroid issues! Hoping he is ok. We are thinking Cody has thyroid issues too...Vet has been watching since last Spring. He goes back in early April and think he will be put on meds. He has lost weight and like Benny, occasionally throws up clear stuff. Purrs and prayers for Benny!
