Catnip motherload

I grow catnip, which I dry and use to make cat toys for the shelter. Of course, our gang gets to enjoy some too. This year, my 'nip isn't growing as vigorously (our part of the state is in a drought). However, I discovered a large amount growing in our alley, a few houses down.

The area isn't maintained very well, so I figured the neighbors wouldn't mind if I took some (in fact, I'm probably doing them a favor, LOL).

The motherload!

It's easier to ask forgiveness, than get permission...and what they don't know...*wink*

For all you know, it could be seeds from your plants that blew over that way - so you are doing them a favor!

Nice looking nip. Our main garden is full of weeds so I didn't even look to see if any came up this year.

Wow...score!

You did score! Although we are in a drought, the built in planter with the catnip gets watered on a timer, so usually it does well, no matter what is going on with our precipitation.

What a find! Dad wishes I was more interested in the stuff. At first I'd be all goofy with it, but these days I just don't seem to give a rat's a** about it.
