Last Friday, I took Sadie and Ringo in for checkups.
Ringo goes in every 4 months to have his anal glands expressed, but it was time for his annual check up too. Everything looks good with him.
I was quite surprised to learn that Sadie had lost nearly a pound (she was last at the vet about 8 months ago). Given her age (almost 13), we ran a senior blood panel. Thankfully, all came back normal. We'll have to sneak her some extra food and treats, which she certainly will love.
It took a couple of hours, but I was soon forgiven.

Adorable kitten Sadie - I refuse to believe you're 13 already! Enjoy the extra chicken and assorted treats.
Checkups can be scary. Never know what may turn up. Glad nothing did!

I'm glad both Sadie and Ringo checked out well. As Binga aged, it was harder to keep weight on her. Boodie... um, never really had that problem!
