Tucker had a very bad night last night, urinating all around the house. It got so bad that I shut him in a bathroom for part of the night. I'm almost positive it was because I gave him Fancy Feast before I went to bed. I'm experimenting with his diet and had given him some raw ground chicken yesterday, and he was improving.
I gave him more ground chicken before I shut him away, and this morning he was less anxious. I don't think it was a coincidence. Going to call the vets today to see if I can get more pain medication. Sigh.
UPDATE: My vet approved more pain medication, but I'm still waiting on an answer for getting some anti-spasmotic medication. Jim also called to say that Tucker was resting quietly. Crossing my fingers he continues that way.

Poor baby. Lots of hugs and purrs to Tucker, for a speedy recovery.
If he'll raw, or at least grain-free, so much the better!
Poor Tucker. We are keeping him in our purrs.
:( Purring and praying he feels better soon.
I have never had a cat that had this condition. I am following closely with interest, just in case I ever do. I am sorry Tucker is sick with it.
Purrs for both of you, I know how stressful this is..
We are sending purrs for Tucker and all the family!

I know you will get better, Tucker. Mommy is taking such good care of you. I'm so sorry the FF might be causing your problem. Kiss, kiss from me, Tiny and Callie.
Oh, poor dear Tucker! I hope the diet changes and medications help and he feels better soon. (And hugs to you--it must be very stressful.)
So sorry to read about Tucker...two things popped into my mind. According to a former vet I had (and others have verified it since) Fancy Feast has the HIGHEST fat content of any cat food....and....you don't feed Tucker turkey do you? Turkey causes major problems in the urinary tracts of male cats (not tiny bits of turkey fed occasionally, but turkey fed regularly does). Hoping he is feeling better soon.
We are sorry to hear that Tucker is feeling so poorly.
It's so stressful when our furry ones are not feeling well.
Sending purrs and prayers your way.
