I'm sorry to write that yesterday, Tucker's FLUTD started acting up again. Thankfully, I have two pain pills left from the vet, so he's back on those. Based on the suggestion from our friends at Fuzzy Tales, I've ordered a different supplement from Amazon. I'm going to re-evaluate his diet too, and in case stress is still a factor, I've plugged in a Feliway diffuser. He's not as bad as a few weeks ago, but seeing him pace to the litter box breaks my heart. I wish I could do more.

It's common for it to flare up again...poor Tucker. We hope the UTI-Free works for him, it truly has been a godsend for Derry, and is exceptionally well-rated on the PetAlive.com site. Fingers and paws crossed and healing purrs to Tucker!
P.S. I'm not sure what you feed him, but after Derry's bout, I cut out the 1/4 cup of dry I was giving the boys each a day, reduced that to 1 TBSP in the AM and PM (I think about 1/8 cup), more for a treat. It probably would have been better to cut out kibble entirely, but the boys love it and I think one has to take quality of life into account too.
Oh, I should add...A couple of weeks ago I thought to try Derry on one dose of UTI-Free per day in his food, instead of the usual two. I don't know if it was coincidence, but after several days I noticed him peeing more frequently, 3 or 4 times a day when normally he pees only once or twice. (Yeah, he can hold his bladder for over 24 hours--I've timed it before at 27 hours, the max I've known him to go.)
I dosed him via syringe a few times on one day, then went back to giving it to him in his food twice a day--and he went back to peeing every 12 hours to 24 hours, normal for him.
I don't want to give you false hope, because every cat and situation is different, but I've truly got nothing negative to write about that product. It's like a miracle for Derry--at least right now. Can't say that always will be the case, of course.
Healing purrs r us!
