Did anyone order a box of Ringo?

Because if you did, he's ready to ship!*

and Ringo is VERY excited about being shipped!

*We did a similar post like this for Tucker a few years ago.

Eileen had a question about why a super ball is called "super" from yesterday's Thrifty Thursday post. I honestly don't know. They are small, round, rubber balls. In the 1980s, you could often find them in gumball machines for a quarter. Many kids collected the different patterns and colors.

I always assumed 'super' was a reference to how high they could bounce.

Yes, they were called super balls because they bounced extremely high--when new.

Didn't those balls bounce SUPER high?

Ship him to us!

We always thought they were called super balls because they had extra bounce to them. They would bounce really high.

It looks like I'm in a long line-up. Everyone wants Ringo! And since I have a Saku it's probably for the best.

Thanks for mentioning my question. I'll have to ask my kid brother if he had any of the super balls when he was a kid.

They were called Super Balls because they would jump up SUPER HIGH when you bounced them, unlike other balls. Mom used to love them!
