Chewy.com review: Nature's Variety Raw Boost mixers #chewyinfluencer

This month's review is for Nature's Variety Raw Boost Mixers. We chose rabbit, but chicken is also available.

This is a freeze-dried food product designed to be a "mix in" with your pet's regular food. You can mix it in or top your cat's regular food to add more protein and interest to the food.

The good: Grain free, freeze-dried from raw rabbit

The not-so-good: This is NOT meant to be a regular food. It is not nutritionally complete for cats and not meant for full-time feeding.

These are smallish pieces, very lightweight.

I would use these mostly as treats instead of as a topper. I read the reviews on Chewy's website, and it seems others do the same. I've used freeze-dried food before and tried to rehydrate these, but the pieces would not soak up water for some reason. Maybe it's the small shape?

Anyway, what would the cats think?

Lucy gave TWO PAWS up!

Benny and Ringo gave no paws up.

Sadie has not tested a product in several months, so I went upstairs and lured her out from the bed. This is not a good photo, but it's the best I could get. She LOVED them too and gives two paws up.

I think these could be useful for some pets, and are certainly a must healthier option than most cat treats. Not all cats will like them (aka, our Benny), but if your cat likes freeze-dried meat, these are worth a try.

Disclaimer: We were given one bag of mixers in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are our own.

We tried these too and luv them. Ifin ya' break 'em open, they will absorb some water, but they're better dry. Big hugs

Luv ya'

Nice review. Glad that at least Lucy gave them paws up. We will be reviewing these as well.

I've had those but haven't been thrilled about them. I've been known to eat around them.
