We may not be updating as much in the next few weeks. My father-in-law has been ill for a long time, but sadly, his time on earth is not very long. We are going to Minnesota today to be there and help mother-in-law (who is not dealing well with this). Likely, we will be there for a week. We're leaving together but I may see if I can find/get a ride back. No idea of the plan--we're playing it by ear and hoping for the best.
Lucy seems to know when I need her and will sit on my leg. I will sure miss the cats while we're away, but our regular pet sitter is on call and will take good care of them.
I have a few posts scheduled but may not update after they run out.
